My name is Farah Ahmed, and I am running for Windsor City Council in Ward 5.
I believe our community deserves a representative who listens to residents, understands the challenges facing working families and businesses, and brings practical experience to City Hall.
Who I Am
My background is rooted in skilled trades, business, and community service.
I studied Blueprint Reading, Fitting and Welding at St. Clair College, giving me hands-on technical training and an understanding of the value of skilled work.
I am also a business owner. Running a business has taught me responsibility, leadership, financial decision-making, problem-solving, and the importance of serving people.
My commitment to the community also includes my work with STAG Action and youth. Working with young people has reinforced my belief that our community becomes stronger when we create opportunities, provide support, and give people the tools to build successful futures.

I am not running because I want a title.
I am running because I believe community service means showing up, listening, working hard and being accountable.
My experience as a trades-trained professional, business owner and community volunteer has taught me that problems are solved through hard work, cooperation and practical action.
I want to bring that approach to Windsor City Council.
